Today I am going to blast the National Geographic.
In their issue, they talk about water. one section is about Israel. They talk about how Israel deprives the West Bank of water, is shrinking the Kineret by piping water to Tel Aviv, and basically talking about how Israel wastes water.
They completely disregarded the Make the Negev Bloom initiative.
Israel is on the forefront in conserving water. They have developed innovative irrigation techniques for growing crops in the southern desert of its country. I dont understand why national geographic would neglect to include this, as this technology has had international ramifications in terms of conserving water, but I wanted to point that out.
